Products and Services
1. CO2 Capture and Sale
Digital Midstream Genesis purchases ethane (180,000 gallons annually) from the fractionation plant at a rate of $0.092 per gallon. We capture CO2 from the emission of natural gas powered generators through an amine scrubber and sell it to CO2 distributors at a price range of $125 to $200 per ton. Our goal is to produce and sell 14,400+ tons of CO2 per year, generating substantial revenue.
2. Carbon Credit Monetization
For each ton of CO2 captured and separated, we receive $60 in production tax credits (Section 45Q), which provides an additional stream of revenue. This is expected to generate $864,000 in tax credits annually.
3. Off-Grid Electricity Generation
Once the CO2 is removed, the pure ethane is used to generate off-grid electricity via turbine generators. The facility can generate 8.3 MW of electricity per month, enough to power 6,000 to
8,000 average American homes. This excess energy can be sold to small-town power grids, industrial facilities, data centers, and EV charging hubs.
